Waneta Faye Wines, 77, of Bethesda, Ohio, died Friday, January 30, 2015 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born October 3, 1937 in Somerton, Ohio, daughter of the late Frank D. Farrabee and Gladys Ensley Farrabee. Faye, as she was known to everyone, served as past treasurer of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. Her grandchildren were her rainbow of life. She enjoyed gardening with its endless beauty and was an enthusiastic sports fanatic. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Arthur, Kenneth, and Gene Farrabee; sister, Brenda Farrabee; and daughter-in-law, Lori Wines. Faye is survived by her husband of 56 years, David Wines of Bethesda, Ohio; daughter, Michele (David) Plumly of Somerton, Ohio; sons, William Wines of Belmont, Ohio, Jeffery (Kami) Wines of St. Clairsville, Ohio; grandchildren, Misty, William, Christopher, Andrea, Cody, Corey, Mason, and Jeb; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Freda Farrabee of Bethesda, Ohio, Sandra Dean of Buchanon, West Virginia, Connie Farrabee of Bellaire, Ohio; and brothers, Wayne (Delores) Farrabee and David Farrabee all of Bethesda. Family and friends will be welcome to visit, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home & Crematory, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio where the service will be conducted, Wednesday 11 a.m. Pastor Rusty Atkinson officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Morristown, Ohio.
