Wanza A. (Graves) Smith, 85, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Belmont Manor Nursing Home, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born Aug. 18, 1927 in Langley, Ark, a daughter of the late Roy and Dora E. (White) Graves. Wanza was a member of the Harbor of Hope Church of St. Clairsville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Durward M. Smith, a son Durward E. Smith and a grandson David M. Smith, Jr. Surviving are her children; Carrol Kay Smith Huba of Butler, PA, David Michael Smith of Martins Ferry, Lonnie J. (Crystal) Smith of Springfield, IL, Travis Drew Smith of Tampa, FL, Shawn P. (Arlene) Smith of Martins Ferry, and Mark M. Smith of Rock Hill, SC, her sister Flossie Lowery of Glenwood, Ark., 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm, where services will be held Friday, April 5, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor Dean Myers and Pastor Robert Michael officiating.
