Warren H. Richter, 90, of Colerain, OH, our beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2011 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born July 30, 1921 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Herbert L. and Alta G. (Miller) Richter. He was retired as a Tin Knocker from Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #33. Warren was a member of the Colerain Senior Citizens Center, and also a veteran of the U.S. Army, WW II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis J. (Breiding) Richter, daughter Diane L. Becca, two infant children Curtis P. and Jeanne M. Richter, a brother Donald P. Richter, and a sister Dorothy Tschappat. Surviving are a son W. Dale (Kim) Richter, of Colerain, a daughter Jeanne C. (Tim Carlier) Richter of Colerain, five grandchildren Heather M. (C.J.) Hupp, Michael D. (Stacy) Richter, Katelyn J. (Matt Grinmegt) Becca, Kylie J. Becca, and Hayleigh Richter, and five great grandchildren Keegan and Hannah Hupp, Maddix and Mylie Richter, and Mathew Grinmegt, and son-in-law George Becca. Friends will be received Tuesday 3-8 pm and Wednesday, Nov.23, 2011 from noon until time of services at 1:30 pm with Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH. Burial follows in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.
