Wayne Kurtz, 60, of Dillonvale, Ohio, passed Thursday February 14, 2013 at home. He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on July 12, 1952, a son of the late Joseph and Eleanor Klotzer Kurtz. Wayne is an employee of Wheeling Pittsburg Steel. He was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, camping, woodworking, and spending time with his family and grandkids. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Kurtz. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Arnetta Farnsworth Kurtz; a daughter Theresa Kurtz-Blumenauer and her husband Jeff of Dillonvale; a son Wayne Micheal Kurtz of Boston, MA. and his life partner Mark; former son-in-law Richard (Heather) Whittaker of Tiltonsville; sisters: Pamela (Steve) Malechowski and Sarah (Jon) Malechowski all of Dillonvale; two granddaughters: Malinda and Amanda Whittaker of Tiltonsville; two step-grandsons: Jeffery Blumenauer of Tiltonsville and David Blumenauer of Fort Pierce, Fla. Friends will be received Tuesday February 19, 2013 at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, Ohio from 1 until the time of services at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert Carson, officiating.
