Wesley Daniel Mitchell sadly passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026, in Wheeling Hospital. He was born in Wheeling on July 9, 2026, a son of Matthew Mitchell and Catherine Smith.

Wesley is survived by his parents; maternal grandparents, Amy Renzler and Robert Smith; paternal grandparents, Jake (Belinda) Mitchell and Crystal (Gary) Johnson; paternal great grandparents, Edward (Cheryl) Arigoni and Ruth Rice; maternal great grandmother, Roberta Renzler; two uncles, Jacob Mitchell and John (Jen) Renzler; an aunt, Sierra Smith; and two sisters, Madison and Gracelynn.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother, Cathy Mussard; an aunt, Ashley Smith; and a great uncle, Daniel Mitchell.

Friends may call Tuesday from 3-6 in the Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, at 6 pm in the funeral home.
