Wilbur "Skeeter" Bell, 75, of Martins Ferry, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022, in East Ohio Regional Hospital. He was born on April 6, 1947, in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Merle and Mabel (Gasaway) Bell. He was Christian by faith and enjoyed cooking and the outdoors.

Skeeter is survived by four brothers, Merle (Vangie) Bell, Ronnie Bell, Robert (Shirley) Bell, and Charles "Butch" Bell; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Russell Bell.

Friends may call Thursday from 11 am to 1 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Scott Black officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
