Wilbur F. Hosenfeld Wilbur F. Hosenfeld, 87, of Deep Run Rd., Martins Ferry, OH died Thur., Jan. 9, 2003 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born July 13, 1915 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Joseph F. and Alice B. Trouten Hosenfeld. He was a retired teacher and supervisor for the Buckeye Local School District, a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Ohio City Lodge #486 F. & A. M. both of Martins Ferry, Bridgeport Chap. #452 O.E.S., and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Albert J. Hosenfeld, two sisters Bernice M. Pickens and Bertha H. Davis and a niece Marian A. Tidrick. Surviving are his wife Louretta M. Ochsenbein Hosenfeld, three nephews John M. (Prudy) Pickens of Kenova,WV, Richard (Holly) Ochsenbein of New Martinsville, WV, and Ronald Hosenfeld of Summerville, SC, a niece Anita (James) Swaton of Wheeling, out of area nieces and nephews including Cindy Martini, Sue Parody, and Bill Schafer, and a sister-in-law Iva Ochsenbein. Friends will be received Friday 6-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Sat., Jan. 11, 2003 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Burial follows in Upland Cemetery, Yorkville, OH. Deacon services will be held Fri. at 7:00 PM followed by Masonic Ritualistic services at 7:30PM in the funeral home.
