Willa R. Ritchey Willa R. (Murphy) Ritchey, 81, of Martins Ferry, OH died Wed., Nov. 19, 2003 at the East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born Nov. 15, 1922 in Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late Harry and Ada (Murphy) Murphy. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson Justin Hughes, a great granddaughter Danielle Kepreos, a brother Charles Murphy, and two sisters Joyce Conroy Lynch and Helen Shahan. Surviving are her husband William E. Ritchey, four daughters Billie L. (Jack) Regis, Sylvia J. (Larry) Deaton, Mary M. (Lester) Hughes, and Diana L. (John) Schell all of Martins Ferry, a sister Irene Cavrich of Fairmont, eleven grandchildren Corena Mitchell, Teresa Taylor, Laura Powaski, William Deaton, Chad Nelson, Eric Hughes, Leslie Hughes, Robert Dalton, Somer Schell, Holly Dalton, and Dana Schell, and fourteen great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sat. 1-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Sun., Nov. 23, 2003, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Madlynne Webber officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
