Willard Ray Perkins, 96, of Bethesda, Ohio died December 14, 2011 at Barnesville Health Care Center. He was born November 26, 1915 in Belmont County, Ohio, son of the late William and Emma Decker Saffell Perkins.
Willard was a long time employee of Blaney Lumber in Bethesda, Ohio and had been a member of Bend Fork Christian Church, near Belmont, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Louis Perkins; one brother, Cecil Saffell; and four sisters, Bertha Brown, Golda Davis, Mildred Perkins, and Dortha Van Dyne.
Surviving is his wife of 64 years, Esta Lou Brown Perkins; daughter, Willa (Dennis) Lundy of Merritt Island, Florida; son, Lional (Connie) Perkins of Belmont, Ohio; grandchildren, Paul (Pam) Palmer, Chris Palmer, and Wayne Jarrett all of Merritt Island, Florida, Paula Trigg of Belmont, Ohio, and Jason Perkins of Bethesda, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren, Michelle and Michael Palmer and T.J. and Mackenzie Trigg.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
