William Albert, 92, of Central Ave., Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., Dec. 12, 2005 at home. He was born Apr. 13, 1913 in Dunglenn, OH a son of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (Dulesky) Albert. He was a retired employee of the former International Harvester, Shadyside, OH, and a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church and the Hungarian Cultural Society both of Martins Ferry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Helen (Laslo) Albert, his second wife Helen (Vargo) Cosmo Albert, two brothers Steve and Andy Albert, and a sister Marie Boyd. Surviving are his children William "Bill" (Sandy) Albert of Martins Ferry, Elizabeth "Cookie" McDaniel of Wooster, OH, James (Katie) Cosmo of Wheeling, WV and Michael (Ruth) Cosmo of Mentor, OH, a two brothers John Albert of St. Clairsville and Ernie (Marie) Albert of Akron, ten grandchildren Dawn (Rich) Hadzima, Penny (Jeff) Assif, William Albert, Jim (Anita) Albert, Nina (Sonny) Gartrell, Tom McDaniel, Tami (Steve) James, Diane (Harry) Allsworth, Susie and Jacob Cosmo, and thirteen great grandchildren. Friends will be received Thurs., 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Fri., Dec. 16, 2005 at 1:30 PM with Rev. William O. Webster officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH. The Elders of Grace Presbyterian Church will hold services Thursday at 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
