William E. Benline, Sr. William E. Benline, Sr. 79, of E. Main St., Lancaster, OH, formerly of Martins Ferry died July 2, 2002 at home. He was born Jan. 11, 1923 in Bellaire, OH a son of the late Francis and Margaret Carter Benline. He was the owner-operator of the former O.K. Printing of Martins Ferry, a member of the Christian Fellowship of Lancaster, charter member of Yorkville Post #4811 V.F.W., a twenty-one year member of Weyer Lodge #54, Eastern Star Chapter #515 both of Centerville, A.A.S.R. Valley of Steubenville Scottish Rite and a veteran of the U.S. Army WW II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Bernard, Paul, and Lawrence Benline, and two sister Nina Fearon and Ruth Benline. Surviving are his wife Leenora Briggs , three sons William E. Benline, Jr. and his wife Paula of St. Clairsville, Joseph B. Benline, Sr. and his wife Diana of Wintersville and Francis L. Benline of Lancaster, a daughter Debra Tucker of Lancaster, a sister Patricia Premoulis of Martins Ferry, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry Wed. 7-9 PM and Thurs. 2-4 & 7-9 PM where services will be held Fri at 10:00 AM with Pastor Ron Cox officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Cemetery, Pleasant Grove with full military graveside honors by the Belmont Co. Council of the V.F.W. Masonic Ritualistic Services will be held Wed. at 8 PM in the funeral home.
