William W. Mullen William W. "Bill" Mullen, , 73, of Boydsville, OH died Mon., Jun. 3, 2002 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born June 21, 1928 in Bridgeport, OH a son of the late William P. and Marie (Elceser) Mullen. He was retired from the Steubenville plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a Lutheran. Surviving are his wife Mildred A. Crawford Mullen, three sons Jan Mullen and his wife Debbie and Jack Mullen and his wife Tina all of Bridgeport and Jim Mullen and his wife Beth of Marietta, a daughter Eleanor Bolon and her husband Brian of Pleasant Grove, two brothers Tom Mullen and his wife Helen and John Mullen and his wife Marcella all of Bridgeport, four sisters Gladys Fisher and her husband Henry of Crozet, VA, Margaret Hixenbaugh and Helen Freeman and her husband Frank all of Florida, and Hilda Secrest and her husband Carl of Beallsville, nine grandchildren Michael, Steve, and Ryan Mullen, Tim Mullen and his wife Amy, Ashley and Amy Mullen, Ken Bolon, Justin Chambers, and Jonathan Mullen, a great great grandson Tyler Mullen. Friends will be received Wed. 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Thurs., Jun. 6, 2002 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Calvin Sigmon officiating. Burial follows in Linwood Cemetery, Blaine.
