William "Bill" Wilson, age 89, passed away peacefully at home with family on February 21, 2018.  Bill was born in Martins Ferry, December 29, 1928 and is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, three sisters & children, Betty and Deborah.

He is survived by his six children Linda (Phillip) Johnson, Michael (Renee) and Nicole Torres of OH, William G. Wilson, Jr. of PA, David (Kelly) Wilson of NC, Sandra (Robert) Fox of FL; as well as 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill graduated from Bridgeport High School and attended Morris Brown College.  He became one of the Ohio Valley's most notable carpet installers and retired after over 50 years.  He loved golfing and playing cards.  He cherished his family and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.  According to Bill's wishes, there will be no public visitation and private services are to be held with the family.  Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Bridgeport assisting the family.  To offer online condolences please visit www.wilsonfuneralhomes.com.
