William D. Cecil, 78, of Wheeling, WV, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Tue., Mar. 28, 2006 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was born Dec. 25, 1927 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Boyce Cecil and Margaret (Davies) Cecil Isaly. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Marlene Whipkey. Surviving are a brother James (Susan) Cecil of Martins Ferry and five sisters Lois Jean Schweizer of Marietta, GA, Darlene (James) Phillips of Shadyside, OH, Joyce (Charles) Beall of Wheeling, WV, Karen (Kenneth) Castilow of St. Clairsville, OH, and Judy Fedczak of Wheeling. Friends will be received Thursday 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Friday, Mar. 31, 2006 at 10:00 AM with Minister Rod Kasler officiating. Interment will follow at the convenience of the family.
