William C. Conway, 88 of Bridgeport, OH. Died Friday Oct. 8, 2010 at Belmont Manor, St. Clairsville, Ohio. He was born at Bridgeport, Dec. 20, 1921 a son of the late Charles and Mayme Bartells Conway.In addition to his parents Bill was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Evans Conway, two brothers: James Conway, and Oliver Conway, two sisters Sarah Cook and Charlotte Grover . Bill retired from the Bridgeport Post Office, a member of the Bridgeport American Legion , Bridgeport Eagles and the Martins Ferry VFW, a veteran of the US Navy. Bill is survived by a daughter Donna Garloch and her husband John of Bridgeport, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where services will be held on Monday October 11, 2010 at 11 am with Rev. James Hoff, officiating. Interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Belmont County Council of the American Legion will conduct services at the funeral home on Monday.
