William H. Dunn William H. Dunn, 85, of Broadway St., Martins Ferry, OH died Wed. Apr. 3, 2002 at the Bishop Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling, WV. He was born Dec. 20, 1916 in N. Hampton Co., NC. a son of the late Charlie and Maggie Lee Dunn. He was retired from Ahl Brothers Construction Co. of Valley Grove, WV and a member of the Pleasant Hills Baptist Church of NC. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dora Maude Sandlain Dunn. Surviving are five sons Raymond Dunn and his wife Bonnie and Larry Dunn and his wife Francis all of Martins Ferry, Charles F. Dunn, Sr. and his wife JoAnn and Arthur Dunn all of Bridgeport and Curtis McWilliams and his wife Willie of Rockville Center, NY, three daughters Yvonne Jenkins and her husband Jimmie of Mingo Junction, Shirley Carrington and her husband Bruce of Norfolk, Va and Juanita Manlopig of Columbus, four sisters Lula Robinson and Beatrice Wyche both of Philadelphia, PA, Lillian Thomas of Portsmouth, VA, and Ell Edmonds of Chesapeake, VA, fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH Fri. 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Friends will then be received Sat. from Noon until time of services at 1:00 PM at the Shiloh Temple, Bridgeport with Rev. Charles F. Dunn, Sr. officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
