William H. Williams William H. Williams, 74 of N. 9th St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sun., May 26, 2002 at McGraw Nursing Home, Pleasant Grove. He was born Dec. 19, 1927 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Helen Quigley Williams Kantner and Lewis Williams. He was a retired inspector with the former Picoma Industries of Martins Ferry, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, American Legion Post #38, V.F.W. Post #3613, and the Polish National Alliance all of Martins Ferry, Lansing Sportsman Club, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his stepfather Harry Kantner, a brother Richard Williams and a sister Marge Williams. Surviving are his wife Ruth E. Burns Williams, two daughters Barbara Bell and her husband Tim of Grove City and Peggy Padyjasek and her husband Rich of Colerain, five grandchildren Tim Bell, II and Billy Bell of Grove City and Jessica, Melissa, and Richie Joe Padyjasek of Colerain, and a cousin Homer Black of Wheeling. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH Wed. 2-4 & 7-9 PM where services will be held Thurs., May 30, 2002 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Thomas Magary officiating. Burial follows in St. Mary's Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc. or the American Lung Assoc
