William L. Haggerty William L. "Bill" Haggerty, 72, of Delaware St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sun., July 14, 2002 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born April 25, 1930 in Glen Robbins a son of the late Fred and Violet Kirkpatrick Haggerty. Bill was the retired Police Chief for the Village of Tiltonsville, OH and retired from the U.S. Army. Surviving are his wife Elnora (Rutter) Haggerty, two sons David Haggerty of Triadelphia, WV and Bill Haggerty and his wife Mary Ann of Rayland, OH; two daughters Joyce Davis and Patricia Windsheimer; a sister Rachel Hudock of Yorkville, OH; four grandchildren and a great grandchild. Friends will be received Tues. 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut & Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wed. at 9:30 AM with Rev. David A. Twedt officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
