William G. "Billy" Harries, II, 41, of Colerain, OH died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008 while vacationing in Carmel, IN. He was born Oct. 20, 1966 in Shreveport, LA a son of the late Dr. William G. Harris, MD and Emily S. (Laurent) Harris. He was a health advisor for Cigna Health Care of Pittsburgh, PA and a former ER nurse at Trinity West Hospital, Steubenville, OH. Billy was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Martins Ferry and the Ohio Valley Classic Car Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a special cousin Floy Land and extended family member Robert VanDuyn. Surviving are his life partner Todd W. Clutter and his sons Benjamin and Thomas, a sister Jeri Sanders-Mesler of Channelview, TX, a brother John A. Harris of Ruston, LA, cousins Suzanne Vickers and Margaret Roberts both of Colerain, Mary Jane Roberts of Atlanta, GA, Frank Harris of Wichita, KS, Jack Ehmer of Lompac, CA, Bill Harris of Calif., his extended family members Barbara VanDuyn, Lisa VanDuyn and Tim Bongfeldt all of Indiana, Lori and Kelly Queisser of New Jersey, Lee and Marsha VanDuyn of Texas, and Mary, Robert, and Beth Queisser, several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008 from 10 am until time of services at 11:00 am with Rev. John P. Brandenburg officiating at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
