William C. Hildebrand, 85, of S. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., Oct. 3, 2005 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born Apr. 26, 1920 in Martins Ferry a son of the late William C. and Eliza Ann (Davis) Hildebrand. He was a retired carpenter from Teamster Local # 3 of Wheeling, WV. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Laure L. (Cornish) Hildebrand, a grandson John Hildebrand, a brother Harold Hildebrand, and three sisters Marie Oliver, Caroline Salena, and Helen Waldorf. Surviving are two sons William C. (Cynthia) Hildebrand, III of Tilsonburg, Ontario, Canada and Larry (P.J.) Hildebrand of Eaton, OH, three daughters Carolyn (Larry) Okey of Dover, OH, Susan (Frank) Klan of Rayland, OH and Maggie (Gordon) Pyles of Martins Ferry, OH, thirteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH on Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005 from 12 Noon until time of services at 1:00 PM when Rev. Van D. Fisher will officiate. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
