William Lee Hoffer, Jr., 84, of Martins Ferry, OH passed away November 16, 2016 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born July 30, 1932, in Harrisburg, PA, a son of the late William and Ethel (Hoch) Hoffer. He was a retired Regional Manager of Moore's Lumber, and a Korean War Army Veteran. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Kabela Temple, and an Osiris Shriner, in Knoxville, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James and Michael Hoffer and sister, Nancy Carroll. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Hoffer, children; Richard (MaryBet) Hoffer of Atmore, Alabama; Robert (Renee) Hoffer of Medina, OH, and Sharon (Frank) Lampert of Pleasant Grove, OH, Grandchildren; Scott, Derek, Brianne, Brittany, Lindsay, Joshua, and Katie; 9 great-grandchildren; and brother, Charles (Pat) of Harrisburg, PA.
