William "Bill" O. Johnson, 78, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Barnesville Hospital. He was born February 14, 1935 in Memphis, Tennessee, son of the late Neal R. Johnson and Altie Scroggins Johnson Cronizer. A 1952 graduate from Woodsfield High School, Bill was a retired loan officer from WesBanco. He was a member of East Main Street Church of Christ, where he had served as an Elder since 2000. He was a volunteer for Hospice of Guernsey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one great-grandson; one sister; and five brothers. Bill is survived by his wife, Thelma (Smith) Johnson of Barnesville, Ohio; son William Bradford "Brad" Johnson of Alexandria, Ohio; daughters, Jerilynn (Dan) Price of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, Nancy (Bradley) Wilson of Barnesville, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Kelly (Brian) Small, Shane (Renee) Price, Jon (Angel) Price, Wesley (Roxanne) Wilson, Clay (Tiffany) Wilson, Van Wilson; 14 great-grandhldren; sister, Juanita Rosenlieb; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit, Wednesday from 4-8 pm, Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be conducted, Thursday 1 pm, East Main Street Church of Christ, Barnesville, Ohio. Evangelist Val Roxby officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio.
