William Allen Mann, 32, of Belmont, Ohio, died March 28, 2013 at his home. He was born December 11, 1980 in Alliance, Ohio, son of Raymond and Madelyn Mann. William worked as a surveyor. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 0001 of Wheeling, West Virginia and the V.F.W. He was an avid Ohio State fan, enjoying the outdoors, especially hunting. He was mischievous in a fun and high spirited way, with a great sense of humor. He had a heart of gold. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Emma Mann and maternal grandparents, Chuck and Virginia Spurrier. In addition to his parents, Raymond and Madelyn, he is survived by sister, Michelle M. Snyder of Minerva, Ohio; brothers, Raymond L. Mann of Uniontown, Ohio and James A. Mann of Belmont, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Sgt. First Class John Lanos. Family and friends are welcome to visit, Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m., at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio, where the service will be conducted, Thursday at 1 p.m. Pastor Rodney West will be officiating. Interment will follow at Belmont Cemetery, Belmont, Ohio.
