William "Bill" V. Polomik Sr., 87, of Bridgeport, Ohio, passed Tuesday December 18, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport on June 23, 1925, a son of the late John and Hermina Polomik. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son James Polomik and brothers: John, Albert, and Steve Polomik. He was a retired employee of North American Coal. Bill is survived by his wife Thelma M. Stanton Polomik; sons: William Polomik Jr. (Lori) of Michigan, and Joseph (Kim) Polomik of Blaine, Ohio; a sister Ann Stahanczyk of Bridgeport; grandchildren: Brian and Matthew Polomik; a great-granddaughter Amber Polomik and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday December 20, 2012 at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, from 11:00 until time of services at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John Mucha, officiating.
