William Ray Polen, 74, of Dillonvale, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2024, in Wheeling Hospital. He was born on February 10, 1950, in Steubenville, a son of the late Ernest and Lottie "Judy" (Bonar) Polen. Bill retired from Weirton Steel; was an avid baseball fan; and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.

He is survived by two sons, Scott (Michelle) Polen and Craig (Ashley) Polen; a sister, Jane (Ray) Hilderbrand; a brother, George (Joan) Polen; two grandchildren, Isabella, and Alivia Polen; and several nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bonnie (Cecil) Polen in 2012; and a sister, Shirley Polen.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale.
