William "Bill" Thomas Redman Jr., 84, of Lansing, Ohio, passed Friday January 2, 2015 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born at Salesville, Ohio on May 23, 1930, a son of the late William Thomas Redman and Susan Cotts Redman. He was a retired U.S. Army Recruiter, and a Methodist by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: James, David, and Richard Redman; and a sister Patricia Gardner. William is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Ernestine (Thrasher) Redman; sons: Clifford (Jamie) Redman of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Jeffrey (Carla) Redman of Germany, William Redman III of Moundsville, WV., daughters: Pamela (Robert) Craig, Tina Etheridge, Donna (Jeff) Kalk, all of Illinois; Lesa (Thomas) Arnett of Smithfield, Ohio; a sister Donna Hannah of Cambridge, Ohio; twenty-one grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held on Wednesday January 7, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. James Hoff officiating. Military Honors provided by Belmont County Veteran's Association at 12:45 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling.
