ROBERTS III, William G., 51, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Sunday, May 3, 2009, in East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, as a result of complications from diabetes.He was born in Martins Ferry Hospital on September 18, 1957, a son of Dessie Therich and the late William G. Roberts Jr.In addition to his father, Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Ella Jacobs and his step-father, Harry Shrieve.Bill is survived by his wife Melanie Connor Roberts; two children, a daughter, Chelsie (Shalin) Roberts­Stidd, of Bridge port, and a son, Tanner of the home; a granddaughter, Ava Anne; two brothers, Bob (Carla) Roberts of St. Clairsville, Mark (Sheryl) Roberts of West Jefferson; a sister, Kim (Lou) Nagy of Bridgeport; Uncle Art Jacobs; stepfather, Frank Therich and his dog, Bob.Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, OH.
