Former Martins Ferry business owner William E. "Bill" Shaw, 75, of Colerain Pike, Martins Ferry, OH passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007 at his home with his family present. He was born May 21, 1932 in Claysville, PA a son of the late Plary E. and Mary M. (Winters) Shaw. Bill was the owner/operator of the former Shaw TV Repair of Martins Ferry. In addition to his parents he was sadly widowed suddenly by his beloved wife Patricia A. (Kahl) Shaw on Dec. 12, 1989, a brother Plary E. Shaw, Jr., and four sisters Etta Host, Mary Catherine Spragg, Lorna Simpson, and Becky Manning. Surviving are his two daughter Paula (George) Shreve and Linda (Keith) Tierney both of Martins Ferry, four grandsons George M. and William E. Shreve and John P. and David M. Tierney, a great granddaughter Sarah E. Shreve, and a sister Beryl Hughes of Warwood. There will be no visitation or services.
