William W. Skinner William W. Skinner, 95, formerly of Hartmann Manor, Martins Ferry and Empire, OH died Sun., Feb. 16, 2003 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. He was born Nov. 26, 1907 in Marietta, OH a son of the late William N. and Laura (Haught) Skinner. He was retired from the former Co-Op Transit Company of Steubenville, and Wheeling, WV and was a Nazarene by faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Iva Mae (Williamson) Skinner, a daughter Dolores Egan, seven brothers and five sisters. Surviving are a son Everett (Claire) Skinner of Steubenville, two daughters Carrie West of Martins Ferry and Leona (William) Kurucz of Rayland, three brothers Wayne Skinner of MI, Wynn Skinner of Dennison, OH, and Donald Skinner of OK, two sisters Oral Hockenberry of E. Liverpool, OH and Edith Nichols of Follansbee, WV, twenty-one grandchildren and thirty-six great grandchildren. Friends will be received Tue. 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wed., Feb. 19, 2003 at 11:00 AM with Revs. Mike Kimball and Timothy Campatelli officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
