William R. Strama, 75, of Aetna St., Martins Ferry, OH died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, OH. He was born Jun. 11, 1934 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Joseph and Sophie (Zalenski) Strama. He was retired from the Martins Ferry Plant of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. William was a member of the First Christian Church, and the former V.F.W. Post #3613,both of Martins Ferry. He was also a veteran of the U. S. Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Leatrice M. (Graham) Strama. Surviving are a daughter JoEllen (Ray) Roshak of Yorkville, OH, two sons Jordan Strama of Martins Ferry, and Jeffrey (Janice) Strama of Russellville, AK, a step-son Thomas L. Marling of Beech Bottom, WV, a step-daughter Regina R. Donahue of Shadyside, OH, and three grandchildren Jerrold Crothers, Heather (Tony) Spann and Justina Strama. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH Friday , Nov. 13, 2009 from 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00 pm with Minister Michael Roshak officiating.
