William C. Thomas William C. Thomas 80, of Moundsville, WV, formerly of Martins Ferry and Cadiz,OH died Wed., Dec. 3, 2003 at home. He was born Oct. 30, 1923 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late William C. and Dessa (Fox) Thomas. He was retired from the former Picoma Industries of Martins Ferry and a member of the Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church of Cadiz and American Legion Post # 888 of Columbus. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army WW II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Cleo F. "Toots" (Whytsell) Thomas and a sister Eleanor Simms. Surviving are a daughter Barbara (Harry) McGuffin of Moundsville, WV, a sister Hazel (William) Calder of Martins Ferry and two grandchildren Dr. Tabitha McGuffin and Heather McGuffin. There will be no visitation. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH with Rev. Raymond Massey officiating.
