RAY, Willie, 68, of Nixon Run Road, Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Sunday April 25, 2010 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. He was born in Martins Ferry on March 5, 1942, a son of the late Douglas and Louise Cunningham Ray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Ray in 2006; a daughter Jo Ann Ray and a brother Michael Ray. Ray is survived by two sons: Mark and William Ray; two daughters: Tina Ray and Lisa Jones (Nick), all of Martins Ferry; five brothers: John L. Ray (Betty) Joe Ray, all of Martins Ferry, Jeff Ray of Bridgeport, Tony Ray of Virginia and Curtis Ray of Bellaire; four sisters: Mary Ross and Barbara Holmes of Martins Ferry, Beverly of New York and Karen Ray of Bridgeport; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held Wednesday April 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Martins Ferry Vol. Fire Dept. will hold services Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
