Wilma (Elekes) Azzi, 85, formerly of Clinton St., Martins Ferry, OH died Friday, Feb. 10, 2006 at Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center, Frostburg, MD. She was born Sept. 20, 1920 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Moses and Katie (Rigo) Elekes. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and the Hungarian Cultural Society both of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Reynaldo Azzi and two brothers William and John Fuzi. Surviving are her son Renny Azzi and his wife Amy of Oakland, MD, a grandson Brian C. Azzi, two step-grandchildren Lindsey M. and Samantha J. Thayer, a great grandson Nicholas M. Azzi,a brother Elmer Elekes of Bridgeport, OH, and a sister Katherine Fuzi of Flint, MI. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
