Wilma V. Cross, 97, of Bethesda, Ohio, died Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Emerald Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 17, 1916 in Belmont, Ohio, daughter of the late Frank Loy and Dessie Snyder Loy. A member of the North Main Street Church of Christ in Bethesda, Wilma was a housemother at the former Belmont County Children's Home for several years. Wilma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Goodin in 1954; second husband, Marvin Sharpe in 1969; and third husband, Harold Cross in 2011. Surviving are her daughter, Sandra Brown of Barnesville, Ohio; son, Charles (Judy) Goodin of West Lafayette, Ohio; four grandchildren, Julie (Ken) Wehr and Brian Brown all of Barnesville, Ohio, Russell Goodin of Sterling Heights, Michigan, and Mark (Gina) Goodin of Wyandotte, Michigan; three great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kelsey Douglass and Mindi Jo Wehr all of Barnesville, Ohio. Friends will be received, Tuesday from 3 to 6 pm, Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio.
