WINSTON CHALMERS MERCER, 61, of Harrisville, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born November 9, 1946 in Wheeling, the son of Margaret (Moore) Mercer of Harrisville, with whom he resided and card for, and the late James Chalmers Mercer. Winston was Methodist by faith. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother Connie Mercer. In addition to his mother, Winston is survived by a sister Peggy Baker and her husband Tom of Yorkville; a brother James Mercer and his wife Lucy of Cleveland; a son Jaysen Mercer of Akron; two daughters Shelley Craig of Michigan and Shawna Mercer of Florida.; and a grandchild. Visitation will be Friday 4 - 8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, where services will be held Saturday at 1 pm with Pastor Charles Mehl officiating.
