Yvonne "Kay" Doty, 77, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Barnesville Hospital. Born June 8, 1939 in Rogers Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Conard Henman and Georgia Creech Henman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Sonny" Doty; daughter, Shelia Howell; sister, Nina Sheley; brother, Troy Henman; and two great grandchildren. Kay is survived by her sons, Doug (Kim) Smith, Kevin (Tammy) Doty all of Barnesville, Ohio, Dan Doty of Byesville, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara (Jim) Kimberly, Becky (Charles) Hamilton, Connie (Vern) Bailey, Sherry (Kevin) Shelby, Emma (Stan) Almo, Vickie (Paul) Matulich; brothers, George (Kathy) Henman, Robert (Janet) Henman, Harold Henman, Paul (LouAnn) Henman, Greg (Cheryl) Henman, and Phillip (Mary) Henman. Kay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, always putting others, unselfishly before herself. A wonderful seamstress, her passion was sewing. She also enjoyed reading and cooking.
