Anita Audrey (Geimer) Bodnar

Anita Audrey Bodnar, 86, of Bridgeport, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Trinity Hospital, St. Clairsville. She was born on February 6, 1940, in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Eugene and Madelyn (Davis) Geimer. Anita was a member of the Bridgeport Women’s Club, the St. Clairsville Bowling Legue, the Hazelwood Hills Boat Club, and enjoyed baking, traveling, bowling, watching figure ice skating and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Steven (Terri) Frasnelli; a granddaughter, Miranda (Brian) Miller; and many nieces and nephews.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard Bodnar; and two brothers, Edward and Phillip Geimer.

Friends may call Wednesday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 12:30 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
