Arlene Mae Frey, 89 of Martins Ferry, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, at Cumberland Pointe Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 8, 1936, in Martins Ferry, the daughter of the late Michael and Sara (Muskovich) Drasylko.
Arlene was a graduate of the Ruth Bryant School of Nursing in Martins Ferry. She worked as an RN at the former Martins Ferry Hospital. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother who dedicated love and care to her family. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Martins Ferry. She is now resting with her Lord and Savior, and we are thankful to know we will see her again one day.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Frey.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Leanne (Jim) Fulton, Denise (Jay) Schmidt, Michael (Sandy) Frey, David (ex-wife Alicia) Frey, grandchildren, Amy (Erik) Porter, Amanda Frey, Emily (James) Talbert, and Kelsea Frey, great-grandchildren, Ava Porter, Harry and Eleanor Talbert, her sister, Debbie (Greg) Tierney.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 4-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home – Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Friday, October 31, 2025, at 11 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 24 North Fourth St., Martins Ferry, 43935, with Fr. Tom Marut officiating. Burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery.
