Audrey Virginia (Ducharme) Petronek

Audrey Petronek, 85, of St. Clairsville, OH, passed away December 25th, 2019 at her home with her family by her side.    

She was born September 15, 1934, in Greenville, Maine, a daughter of the late Maurice and Annie (Davis) Ducharme.

Audrey was a nurse at Bellaire City Hospital, was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church where she was a former member of the Catholic Daughters of America,  she helped with the Miracle of Life Support Group in St. Clairsville, OH, and also started the Coat Closet in Bellaire, OH. 

In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Petronek, and sisters, Dolly Ducharme, Janice McEachern, and Rowene Goss. 

Audrey is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, John J. Petronek; children, Michael Petronek,  Stephen (Gaylene) Petronek of Mercer, PA, Janet Hart of Boca Raton, FL; sister, Nancy Budden; grandchildren, Byron, Amber, Erika, Michael, Preston, Taylor, Kennedy, Hannah; and four great-grandchildren. 

Friends will be received Tuesday, December 31st from 10a.m. until time of mass 11a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bridgeport, OH with Fr. John Mucha and Mgsr. Thomas Petronek co-celebrating.  Private interment at a later date.
