Barbara Ellen (Hickenbottom) Goodson

Barbara Ellen Goodson, 75, passed away April 18, 2025 at Wheeling Hospital.  She was born on June 29, 1949, to the late Edmund and Patricia (Harris) Hickenbottom. 

Barb enjoyed Bingo, Friday night card games with her sisters, and shopping (she loved TJ Maxx & Homegoods).  She loved her family and spoiled her grandchildren.  Most of all, Barb loved her husband, best friend, and confidant, Isaac.  They could never bare to be apart; until they meet again, he will never be the same.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Olivia Goodson; brother, Mark Hickenbottom; and sister-in-law, Becky Hickenbottom.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Isaac C. Goodson of Bethesda, Ohio; children, Dave (Angela) Goodson, Michael (Amanda) Goodson; 3 grandchildren, Isaac (Carrigan) Goodson, Josie Goodson, Daniel Goodson; great-grandchild, Nash; sister, Bonnie (Richie) Wetmore, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on April 30, 2025 from 11am to the time of service at 2pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 322 N. Main St., Bethesda, Ohio 43719. Inurnment will follow at the Union Cemetery in Morristown. www.wilsonfuneralhomes.com
