CAROL SUSAN DAY

Now at peace, Carol Susan Day of Belmont, Ohio, passed away February 4, 2022, after a lengthy illness. She was 71. Born July 6, 1950, in Huntington, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Cledith and Catherine (Alossi) Adkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.  

She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who taught her children the importance of standing tall and to believe in themselves. Her love for her family was endless and she enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of the Bethesda Church of the Nazarene, a girl scout leader, and was the manager at Auntie Anne’s Pretzels.

Carol will be lovingly remembered and held close in the hearts of those who survive; her husband, Dean Day of Belmont; her sister; Chris (Steve) Brobst of Pataskala; children, Melissa (Dale) Keen of Belmont, Jacqueline (Kevin) Chamblin of Monroe, Melinda Lab (Cameron Hall) of Bethesda, Jarrid Day (Miranda Wise), of Bethesda; grandchildren, Jacob Keen (Samantha Taylor) of Jacobsburg, Trevor Keen (Shyla Juzwiak), of Belmont, Hannah Keen, of Belmont, Morgan and Gabriel Stewart of Monroe, Alexis and Emma Lab of Bethesda; great-grandchildren, Bailey Keen, Riley Keen, Ryatt Keen, Carter Keen, Jace Keen, and Jaxson Keen.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda on Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 11, 2022, at noon. Pastors Guy and Cheryl Norris will officiate. Interment will take place at Belmont Cemetery, Belmont.
