Claude Daniel Ricer

Claude Daniel Ricer, 77 of Bridgeport, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at his residence.  He was born March 28, 1947, the son of the late Claude Royden and Wilma Marie (Behrenhauser) Ricer in Wheeling, WV. 

Claude was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving his country during the Vietnam Conflict, he was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corporation, Mingo Junction Plant.  He was Catholic by faith, and a member of the Forrester’s Club in Lansing. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Walker. 

Left to cherish his memory are his fiancée, Becky Luyster, son Scott (Bobbi) Ricer, stepdaughters, Lisa (Tracy) Moore, and Olivia Harris, grandchildren, Ellie and Lillie Ricer, Alisa (Nick) Stewart, Devin (Sarah) Dellinger, Aaron (Kortnee) Daniels, Jessica (Hector), Christopher Harris, Amber (Michael) Callaway, Danielle (Shawn) Jackson, Aireona Moore and 13 great-grandchildren complete the family.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 2-4pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH 43912.  Funeral service will follow the visitation at 4pm.
