Daniel W. Laslo, Jr, 74 of St. Clairsville formerly of Martins Ferry and Shadyside passed away peacefully on Monday, September 26, 2022, at his residence. He was born November 26, 1947, in Wheeling, WV the son of the late Daniel W. and Margaret (Petrash) Laslo.
Dan was a graduate of Ohio University, retired as an Industrial Engineer with the Ormet Corporation and the St. Clairsville Water/Waste Treatment Plant. He was Presbyterian by faith. Dan loved being with his family which was so important to him, he was an avid
Cincinnati Bengles and Red’s fan and loved cheering on his Ohio State Buckeye’s
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dave Laslo in 2020.
Left to cherish his many memories are his loving wife of 55 years, Cynthia (Kruslyak) Laslo, daughter, Christina (Robert Haer) Laslo, son, Daniel W. (Shawna) Laslo, grandchildren: Jillian, Emily, William, step-grandchildren; Kyle (Amy) and Tasha, and one great-grandchild Elizabeth, brother; Doug (Mary Ann) Laslo, sister-in-law; Joni Laslo, several nieces and nephews complete the family.
Dan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Dan is now resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior, and we know that we will see him again one day. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, or the Belmont Animal Shelter 45244 National Road St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950.
