Dave H. Maguire

David H. Maguire, 68, of Martins Ferry, Ohio passed away on August 25, 2021
surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late William and Clara Maguire. He was born March 25, 1953 in Martins Ferry.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill and Jim
Maguire, and his sister Evada Jones, and his niece Jamie Donovan.
Dave is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Barb (Beavon) Maguire his children David(Bobbie Jo)Maguire, Lance (Alex) Maguire, and Elise (Devin) Otto his grandchildren 
David, Charlie, Sofia, Jase, and Brynn; Sister Jane Gordon, Sister-in-law Mary Maguire any many nieces and nephews.
He was a loving husband, father, and Pappy. If he was not working on a project with his friends enjoying a cold one, he was spending time with his family. He loved watching his grandchildren and going on adventures with them. They always looked forward to what new food Pappy would have waiting for them to try.
He served as a volunteer Firefighter with the Alert Engine Company in Martins Ferry for over 25 years, where he served as Captain. He was employed by the Cardinal Plant in Brilliant, OH
Dave will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. We find comfort in knowing he has been reunited with his best friends and "brothers", Ken, Dave, and Jack.

  Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home Heslop Chapel 415 Walnut St. Martins Ferry on Saturday August 28, 2021, from 2 till time of memorial service at 4 pm with Rev. William O. Webster officiating, Fire Dept. Services will he held at 2 pm.
