David John Schramm

David John Schramm, 69 of Glencoe Ohio passed away February 4th, 2025, surrounded by family. He was husband of Saint Mary Ellen for 48 long years. That marriage spawned 3 children and 8 grandchildren who affectionately knew him as "Grumpa". He began his career as a plumber/pipefitter at Power City eventually moving to Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel as a line tender until the plant's closure in 2008. He then decided work wasn't for him and retired. He loved all things outdoors, traveling, and his mistress a 2014 Camaro is named Kristle Anna. Dave was world renowned for his lack of patience and ability to speak his mind loudly to anyone, anywhere, at any time. Years of public embarrassment will be remembered by friends and family alike. He was a man hardened by Life yet squishy on the inside for those privileged enough to see it. Loved by animals and small children. He was always there to lend a helping hand to family or those whose stuff needed fixing. Even though you probably heard about it, and your stupidity, if he felt it was your fault. There will be no services at his request. My family asks that you write your final messages on a can of beer and drink it, on a pack of cigarettes and smoke them all, or take a moment in the quiet of morning in a deer stand in remembrance.
