Deborah Sue Hill, 66 of Martins Ferry, lost her battle with cancer on Friday, June 11, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at her home.  Debbie was a caring wife, mother, aunt, sister and friend.  She was born to the late Erma and Raymond Canter on November 5, 1954.  Debbie married her late husband, Jack Hill on April 14, 1973, they took in Jack’s younger brother Jon and raised him as their own.  Debbie also had two fur babies Zoey and Alley.

Debbie was a beloved sister to Ray (Georgeann) Canter and Nancie Canter.  She was the best aunt to Camille Petrakis, Kara Cunningham, RJ (Tommie) Canter and Kylie (Ryan) Kibble.  The most popular, caring, best friend and great aunt to Sophia and Kosta Petrakis and Aurora Kibble.  Debbie was also a Godmother to Stephani Dolfi, Sarah Schrebe (Tom) and Sophia Petrakis.  Debbie was a wonderful friend and family member who will be deeply missed.

Debbie will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held, Saturday, June 26 at 11 am in the 1st United Methodist Church, 307 Clay St., Martins Ferry, OH celebrated by Pastor Tina Siroki.  Arrangement entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the 1st United Methodist Church, Martins Ferry or the Rosenbaum House at WVU Medical Center, 30 Family House Dr., Morgantown, WV 26505.
