Donald G. Stillwell, Sr.

Donald G. Stillwell, Sr. of Bridgeport passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born on August 15, 1944, in Wheeling, WV, the son of the late Ray and Betty (Yunkins) Stillwell. 

Don was retired from the coal mines and was a meat cutter, he was a member of the former Fulton United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #181 – Scottish Rite, Cave Club, IOLA Club, Ed & Carol’s, and the Foresters.  Don enjoyed fishing, hunting, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Gary Stillwell. 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Sandra (Taylor) Stillwell, children, Donna (James) Rose, of Wheeling, Donald (Lisa) Stillwell, Jr. of Lansing, grandchildren, Kacey (Logan Hollie) Rose, Bethany Rose, Dakota (Linesay) Stillwell, Madison (Kendrick Jackson) Stillwell, great-grandson, Callan Stillwell, brother, Ronald (Janice) Stillwell, special aunt, JoAnn Backman and his buddy, Mooch. 

In keeping with his wishes all services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH 43912.
