Dorothy Lee (Bundy) Rice

Dorothy Lee (Bundy) Rice, 83, of Bethesda, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025 at Emerald Pointe in Barnesville.  She was born on November 27, 1941 to the late Charles William and Dorothy Charlotte (Cilles) Bundy.

Dotti was a beloved mother, and not just to her own child. She was a beloved grandmother, and not just to her own grandchildren.  While Dotti regularly worked outside the home, she was also a superb homemaker and skilled cook and baker. She was a thoughtful listener capable of great insight, and when called upon, great wisdom. She was a voracious reader, possessed of an excellent intellect. She had a practiced eye and appreciation for art and design. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Dotti was elegant, funny, sincere, witty, and generous. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Sean, and by her siblings, Bill Bundy, Carole Greenhalgh, and Jeff Bundy. Left to cherish her memory are son, Aaron and daughter-in-law Rebecca; grandsons, Sean and Seth; nieces, and nephews, Kelly, David, Jason, Colby, Sean, Colin, Lori, and Chad and many beloved grandnieces and nephews whose lives Dotti enriched.

All services are private.  Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719 is assisting the family. A Memorial is planned for a later date at the discretion of the family. Special thanks to all those who have taken care of Dotti over the past few years.
