Elizabeth Ann “Aunt Libby” Smith, 85, of Colerain, OH passed away July 1, 2020, at her home.

She was born June 13, 1935, in Farmington, OH, a daughter of the late Robert R. and Esther (Cope) Smith.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and graduated from Mt. Union College in 1956 where she was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority.  Libby was a dedicated teacher who had a positive influence on the many students she taught during her thirty years of teaching.  Twenty-six of those years were within the Bellaire City School System.  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star,

was a member of Colerain Presbyterian Church, and was dedicated to her family.    

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Greta (McCartney) Smith.

Elizabeth is survived by her brother, Robert C. Smith of Colerain, nephew, Robert R. Smith of Farmington, niece, Carole Busby of Triadelphia, WV, great-nephew Christopher Waterhouse, great-nieces, Aimee (Alfred) Valle, Lindsey Tracey, great-great niece, Eliza Tracey, and several cousins.

Due to Covid 19, private services will be held with burial at Farmington Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Colerain Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 96, Colerain, OH 43916.
