Florian Jerome “Butch” Kensicki, 72, of Dillonvale, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025, in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born in Dillonvale on March 8, 1952, a son of the late Leon and Julia (Liszeski) Kensicki. Butch was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, served his country in the United States Navy, enjoyed hunting, fishing, picking mushrooms, and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan.
He is survived by two brothers, Paul (Sharon) Kensicki and John (June) Kensicki; and many nieces and nephews.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Leo Kensicki, Anthony Kensicki, Frank Kensicki, Barbara Palace, Julianna Frank, Debra Kensicki, James Kensicki; and an infant sister, Delores Kensicki.
Friends may call Friday, March 14, from 11 am to 1 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1pm in the funeral home with Father William Cross officiating. Burial will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Dillonvale.
